Beklan Murat is an Istanbul-based contemporary painter and multidisciplinary artist. A graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Işık University, he spent approximately fifteen years working professionally across tattoo art, illustration, and mural painting before shifting the primary focus of his practice toward painting. His work explores human psychology, social dynamics, the relationship between the individual and society, and human nature.

 

Following his first solo exhibition, "Homo Homini Lupus" in Istanbul in 2024, Murat continued developing his practice through exhibitions and international artistic experience, including a five-month period of independent production in Bali. He is a member of  UPSD – the Turkish National Committee of the International Association of Art (IAA/AIAP).
